Sid - Blogging for Newbie Webmasters’

Nearly a week ago i started this issue when one of my friends reported about someone ( not known to him )  clicked on the Adsense  Ad-units  successively within a very short span of time. He was afraid of an impending Adsense ban.

Wherefrom it appears that Google has already implemented steps to prevent such frauds. Secondly, before banning Adsense Account, a manual check-up is done. Finally, click-fraud alone is not necessarily the cause a ban if a publisher has a clean site that converts well for the Advertisers.

One of my e-Friends has suggested a way to increase Adsense CTR, as per his advice, you have to take off  the text “Advertise on this site” . it is quite simple to do that, just follow these steps:

Log on to Google Adsense Account.
Click the ‘My Account’ tab.
Scroll down to ‘Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up [edit]’ click edit.
Uncheck the box ‘Subscription: Include me in Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up’
Scroll down & click ‘Save Changes’.

That’s it.

It will take some time to see the changes.
